Good Friday Brunch at Ronin, Hong Kong Street

We met up with Jo after all the shenanigans

One benefit of living near friends is that we get to carpool and be chauffeured in another car other than ours 🙂 Got whizzed off to a nice cafe tucked away from bustling Tiong Bahru and Chinatown, but yet still within the area.

Ronin wasn’t what I expected in terms of lightings. It was dimmer and first thought that came to mind is – hey! this reminds me of Abercrombie & Fitch! There isn’t any menu and our food options were sung out by a service crew, who carries a huge smile on her face after completion. It was calming nonetheless.

Below is Jo’s orders, while T and I shared one portion to ensure that he doesn’t have to eat 1.75x. That drink on the right is green tea matcha and I wished I took a sip now.

A pretty display. How can we not have flowers while dining, right?
Ended up at the back alley and finished the lunch with a couple of photos by Jo.
